
Focus on knowledge transfer and innovation: Independent Hotel Show Munich in collaboration with HotelPartner
The provider of revenue management solutions supported the premiere of the trade fair with practical presentations and forward-looking topics. The concept convinced around 2,000 participants.
Design, architecture and lifestyle – the Independent Hotel Show Munich set out to establish the trade fair format, which is already well-known in London, Amsterdam and Miami, in German-speaking countries. HotelPartner Revenue Management supported the initiative of the organizer Montgomery Group from the very beginning. In addition to over 140 exhibitors, there were numerous presentations and panel discussions on current challenges, especially in the independent and privately managed hotel industry.
The Independent Hotel Show Munich thus offered a unique platform for knowledge transfer and networking within the industry. As the main partner of the event, HotelPartner Revenue Management demonstrated in specialist presentations and panel discussions how education and innovation work together. The focus was on the potential of artificial intelligence to optimise processes and improve the guest experience, strategies for sustainable revenue management to maximise sales and innovative communication channels in collaboration with ReGuest to strengthen customer loyalty and sales success.

The extensive lecture programme was complemented by several panel discussions and an award ceremony. Numerous well-known personalities from the industry shared their practical experience with the visitors and exchanged ideas with each other on site. These included hotelier Horst Schulze, who has worked for the Ritz-Carlton hotels as Chairman of the Board, and Dr Caroline von Kretschmann, owner of the Grandhotel Europäischer Hof. The organiser also received support from established organisations such as HSMA Deutschland e.V.: “The Independent Hotel Show has made a strong debut. It was a pleasure for us as an industry association to contribute to this event together with partners, members and friends. We still believe that events of this kind are important to promote networking, which, in addition to professional contributions, also makes a significant contribution to further training within the industry,” adds Anna Heuer, Managing Director of HSMA Germany.
