The HotelPartner Story: How it all started…

In 2006, HotelPartner’s story began when founder Oliver Meyer recognized the need for Revenue Management and Distribution to be offered as a seamless entity. With this vision in mind, he laid the foundation for the company.

Initially, Oliver Meyer devoted countless nights to manual Yield Management until he realised this practice was not sustainable long-term. The current CTO, Leander Eyer, joined the team and, as a student at ETH Lausanne, ambitiously engineered the foundation for the HotelPartner Performance Platform (HPP).

Innovators in Hospitality

Leander Eyer and Oliver Meyer were pioneers in the adoption of cloud-based systems, even before it became common in the market. Their first application allowed for the online display of available rooms from the Hotel Management System (PMS). External channel managers couldn’t keep up, which led to the integration of our own directly into the HPP.

In late 2008, the first HotelPartner office was established. Oliver Meyer recognized the importance of experienced professionals in the hospitality industry. This gave rise to the unique TET synergy: a qualified team, proven expertise, and modern technology.

HotelPartner Today: Shaping Tomorrow’s Hospitality

HotelPartner is now a dynamic company dedicated to advancing revenue management. It employs over 70 highly qualified experts working in various areas such as revenue and yield management, content management, distribution, technology, and development.

With offices in Lausanne, Bern, Vienna, Salzburg, Hamburg, and London, HotelPartner aims to provide their services globally. Currently, with passion and expertise, it collaborates with around 500 partner hotels across the globe.
